For the most part, I have been an observer.

I have not been around long but I have lived for long enough to learn all of the legends, both ancient and recent. Legends of great heroes, fiendish villains, and grand battles that have taken place on the stage showing the battle of good against evil no matter how obscure and uncertain either side can be. The legends have come and gone now and it seems that their time is over. The last great dragon has been slain and the last legendary weapon has been claimed by it's true owner, metaphorically speaking. Now it seems that the world at last has respite and can relax allowing people to simply do as they please, as long as they can keep things in order.

At the center of the center of this recent calm is the Care Bear Family, who's mission of showing the world how to care has helped bring this peace. The Care Bear Family has not only helped the world but also improved and expanded on their own family, many of them having spouses and even children at this point. Many of them have participated or even been at the center of the most recent legends, which are told sometimes embellishing or reducing their roles, depending on how significant they are seen.

At last it seems the the ocean of history, so long caught in a storm of strife, war, and grief has at last calmed down to a stillness that many would wish could last an eternity. Yet an ancient and mystical land has a saying, "one raindrop raises the sea." In the past and in legends the course of history has been determined by one raindrop of a human among an ocean of millions: a young girl roused a crumbling nation with her faith and managed to save them from invaders who had almost destroyed them, one man turned a nation of disjointed nomads into an army that conquered most of the known world, and the will of another man forged an empire but without him that empire crumbled, and just as history has been before it shall be again.

One drop is about to fall on the calm ocean of history, a drop that has been preparing to fall for a long time and it will send our ripples across the surface that will soon turn the calm sea into a violent maelstrom once again. Soon, once the drop falls, I must reveal myself and no longer can I be an observer for I must step into the forefront of history to ensure this storm does not tear down every accomplishment that has been made in recent and ancient time. The final battle is approaching, and soon the greatest conflict in the history of time will begin.

Will this be the final legend that our descendants will hear of and tell to inspire themselves in their own endeavors.
